We are happy to announce a new release of the CipherMail Email
Encryption Gateway and Webmail messenger.
From the CipherMail team, we wish you all a happy Christmas and a happy
new year.
CipherMail gateway 4.6.2-0 release notes:
* Notify and PDFEncrypt "userProperty" should now be a JSON string. If
you have modified the standard config.xml file, or any other MPA XML
fragment that uses Notify or PDFEncrypt and where "userProperty"
is set, please update these XML file to make sure the new JSON
config is used.
* System jars updated for Java 11 support.
* The type of the cm_value field of the cm_properties_cm_name_values
table was changed to mediumtext to support larger values
(MariaDB/MySQL only)
* NTLM support is now disabled because only version 1 was supported. To
support NTLMv2, use a local NTLM proxy forwarder like for example
CNTLM.
* It is now possible to skip adding certain security keywords (for
example when the email was decrypted) to the subject of an S/MIME
or PGP email by setting the specific subject tag to "<skip>".
* Command line script added which can be used to add log statements
to the MPA log.
* The CertStore command line tool updated: certificates can be
validated, output can be written to CSV file
* Subject encryption triggers are now removed from incoming email
before the S/MIME handler is executed. We need this so we can
trigger on the "decryption info tag" when a reply to an email
is sent so we can force encryption if the email was received in
encrypted form by the gateway.
* System sender and from address can now be specified. These are used
by some system generated notification messages. Default system sender
is the null sender. Default system from is "postmaster". Default
email templates modified. from is set to postmaster if from is not
explicitly set.
* The MPA log viewer now supports multiple log files. Previously only
the last two MPA log files were shown. The admin can now select
the number of log files to show, and filter on (up to 9 log files).
* The max MPA log size (until the log file is rotated) is now 20MB
(was 10MB)
* Packages are signed with a new signing key with key ID
034416869EBF877A9C37B22E81DD361DC65A8999.
* All non-ciphermail package dependencies for the the RPMs and DEBs
are removed. It is impossible to support different RedHat/CentOS
and Debian/Ubuntu releases because dependencies change between
OS releases.
* The system URLs (Base URL, OTP URL etc.) can now be set on domain
and user lever (previously these values could only be set on the
global system level).
* Subject and header triggers are now moved to dedicated pages. This
allows us to support multiple triggers without cluttering the
settings page too much. The triggers can be accessed from the new
triggers pull-down menu (on the user, domain and global settings
page).
* Email address high-lighter were missing the - char for the domain
name.
* Subject and header triggers added: Skip encryption, force Webmail
Messenger, force PDF Messenger [PRO/ENT].
* Support for Dutch standard NTA7516 added (VWS-project "Veilige Mail"
https://www.nen.nl/Alles-over-NEN-7510/NTA-7516.htm) [PRO/ENT].
* Logos which can be modified by the admin are now stored in a logo
registry. A standard logo editor can now be used to add additional
editable system logos [PRO/ENT].
* Logos menu is moved to a new "style" pulldown menu [PRO/ENT].
* Reporting menu item was moved to the "other" pull-down menu
[PRO/ENT].
CipherMail Webmail Messenger release notes:

1.4). Wemail Messenger now scales better on mobile devices. Support
for older (no longer supported) browsers like IE8 is now dropped.
* Webmail Messenger portal styles (like colors) can now be edited
from the GUI to match the company styles.
* System jars updated for Java 11 support.
