Nature of the PDF encryption "Template"

I have been reading the PDF encryption documentation for the Portal. Is there
somewhere that the "template" or how it is created or used for the pdf
encryption is described or by template do you just mean a document that is to
be made into an encrypted pdf to be sent?

Hi Nancy,

I think when Stefan referred to "template" he was referring to a set of
user properties and not the email template (the user modifiable template
that describes how the PDF encrypted email should look like)

Kind regards,

Martijn

Actually I was referring to the template mentioned in the documentation, but I
think you partially answered my question anyway.

What I am interested in learning more about is the "user modifiable template
that describes how the PDF encrypted email should look like". I am wondering
if I can include dynamically generated information in the email. The best way
may be for me to just install it and find out, but you mention that files can
be added, so I am wondering if this template includes the content of the files
as part of the body of the the email like and "include" or can it be as an
attachment to the email? Can the files potentially be pulled in on the fly or
described using wild cards, etc., or do they have to be in a particular place
waiting to be packaged in the encrypted pdf? If they can be attachments, do
they need to be in a particular format so that they can be packaged in or with
a pdf?
