Question about the use of subject triggers

Hello,

the admin guide says about the use of subject triggers:

A subject trigger can be used to force encryption when the subject contains
a certain keyword. This is useful when the default setting for a sender is No
encryption while you want to force encryption for a particular message.

I have defined an external user and selected "Encrypt Mode: No Encryption", followed by a password.
As a trigger I defined "-ENC-", it is enabled and I want the trigger to be removed. And PDF encryption is of course allowed.

When I know send an email containin gonly a few lines to this address, with the subject line "-ENC- important files", the message isn't encrypted.

Changing the "Encrypt mode" to "Allow" causes an encryption because PDF Enc ist enabled.

Why doesn't my trigger cause an encryption?

Thanks for your help,

Stefan

Did you enable and set the encryption trigger for the recipient or for
the sender? The encryption trigger is a sender property, i.e., the
trigger should be enabled/set for the sender.

Kind regards,

Martijn Brinkers
