I have never been a real maven user but that's probably of lack of
understanding 
Are you using the maven script yourself to build Djigzo?
I can put it on the website so other developers can use it if you agree?

I use the given script for automatic full downloading of version Djigzo, including initial texts and the documentation, and unpackings
It allows me to do custom assembly backend and an web frontend djigzo (repack)
