GPG Integration Status

Hi all,

i found an older posting that GPG might be integrated at some point. Is this something that's going to happen at some point in the near future, or would someone have to found this? I'm not able to completely found this, but i would happely chip in, would something as co-founding be an option?

Regards,

Al

GPG (or PGP) is on the development agenda, but as always, there's a lot
of other features too. One of the issues with GPG is that gpg and s/mime
are very different and the implementations would be more or less
separate. Consider what you would do when you want to send an s/mime
encrypted message to someone while cc'ing someone who needs gpg encryption.
Contributions by others would certainly be appreciated. Martijn is
currently attending a conference in Athens, I'm sure he'll share his
thoughts when he gets back.

btw, Al, what do you mean by "founding"? You mean starting the GPG
project? Did you have a look at the source code so you have an idea
where GPG would fit in?
