Imported PGP public isn't displayed

Hello,
we have downloaded a pgp public key for a known contact. When I import the key on a Ciphermail system version 5.4.1.0, the webinterface reports a successful import. But although no filter is active, the key is not displayed. When we create an account for that key, we cannot select it as encryption key either.
On an old CM 4.10.0-0 system the key is visible after the import.

What could be the reason, that the key is imported but not visible on the current system?

Thanks for any hints or suggestions,

Stefan

Is it possible to attach the key so I can have a look?

As a new user I’m not allowed to upload files, but here it is:

Thanks for your help,

This is a bug. If the email address of a PGP key is not enclosed in angle brackets (“<” and “>”) the email address is ignored.

This is probably an old key (looking at the key size). I think that most keys are created with the email address enclosed in angle brackets.

This will be fixed in an upcoming release.

The bug is only that the email address from the UserID is not manually assigned to the imported key. You however manually assigning an email address as a workaround.
