DLP

Hello all,

I am having my first foray into the DLP land and so far not had a great deal of success. I have enabled pattern scanning at the global level and created a very simple new match:

<policyPatterns>

<pattern>

<description> secret pattern </description>
<name> Secret Word </name>
<priority> WARN </priority>
<regExp> \ssecret\s </regExp>
<threshold> 1 </threshold>
</pattern>
</policyPatterns>

when I send an email to a recipient with the content "This is a secret email so should trigger DLP" nothing happens. I have checked djigzo.log and there does not appear to be any error messages. This is running the latest release candidate. Any ideas ?

Hi Phil,

A couple of things to check:

- Did you also added the DLP pattern to the global settings? (see global
settings -> DLP -> DLP patterns)
- Did you setup any DLP managers? (see global DLP settings) and/or
enabled "Warning to originator"?

Kind regards,

Martijn Brinkers
